I am a do it yourselfer and the main reason is I am a perfectionist. JD's install team did a perfect job and the building inspector even commented on the fact that it was a clean professional installation. I had no cleanup or follow-up work that I needed to do and that is not normal for work that I have done for me.
SO BAD. Kicking myself for doing business with this company. Extremely overcharged for the services done on my HVAC system. Billing practices are very unethical and designed in a manner to dupe unsuspecting customers. Please, think twice before calling these guys, that is unless you enjoy being overcharged and taken advantage of.

After Ryan never returned her call, my wife tried several times to call the business owner and again her calls were never returned. My son researched the cost of an Inducer motor and found prices from $40 to $150 for the motor itself. We feel because of our advanced age and the low temperatures we were taken advantage of. If our son had not looked into the problem when he did we would have been replacing our furnace on the recommendation of Ryan when the real problem was snow blocking the air intake.
Its employees are respectful, hardworking and always leave things cleaner when they leave than when they arrived. I was impressed with the installers professionalism and would not hesitate to refer them or use them in the future for any other services they offer. When they came out to give me an estimate they were very detailed and answered any questions I had. I already had 2 other companies out to give me a bid. They were priced along the other two companies but the salesman was more professional and gave me more information. Finished the job on time, cleaned up their mess and the price was what they quoted.

I also was eligible for a special rebate on my high efficiency furnace and JD's team completed it and submitted it for me. I had always heard about JD's great reputation but I got to live it and I highly recommend JD and his team. JD Vigil was the firm I called a year and a half ago.
When the windows were installed they were sticking out about 3/4 of inch with water coverage. During the installation the work team through trash all over the yard and one of my puppies went to pick up the garbage and started to choke. It took JD Vigil over 18 month's to finally install the windows properly and 2 of the windows have had leaks between the glass. Its takes an addition 14 months so far to replace them.

Installed air conditioning unit, humidifier, and all electrical wiring necessary. The products installed are top notch and I haven't had any problems with the performance. The "business" end of the project including the follow up and inspection process left a bad taste in my mouth. The more information you provide about your business, the easier it will be for customers to find you online. From consultation to install I was very impressed with the professional work by this company.
I stand by my remarks about the woman that answered the phone. He said I should have contacted him immediately, and on hind sight I probably should have - - BUT with the attitude the person answering the phone had, he probably wouldn't have "been in" per her!! I called Tuesday to schedule an appointment and they came out on Wednesday. The salesman spent about an hour selling his company's services before looking at the old furnace and the house configuration to aid in his estimating. Due to the age of the home he encountered an old system with which he was unfamiliar so he called his boss and asked him to come the next morning to take a look and "fill in the blanks". The owner arrived promptly the next morning he was very courteious and took a look so he could provide the missing information to the salesman.

All in all I paid more than the original estimate . The only thing worse than his accountability and accounting practices is his poor customer service attitude. I would not recommend this company to an enemy. I will gather my documentation and take this up with the Better Business Bureau, which he IS a member of.
I was contacted by Mr. Vigil about my original review. He said that the other technicians wouldn't have commented on my furnace was too large for my size house if it was operating efficiently. I am not a furnace/heating expert and I have to assume he is.
The employees who installed the systems were professional and courteous and a really nice job. JD has followed up with us at least twice to ensure we are satisfied with his service that we aren't experiencing any problems. I am very satisfied with JD Vigil Heating and AC and would definitely recommend him to anyone considering installing or upgrading their furnace and/or AC systems. When we built our home I did not purchase an A/C unit. For 17 years I have had to hear my wife complain so I finally took action. The other estimators just needed a couple minutes and told me what size unit I needed and it varied from a 3 ton to a 4 ton unit.
